Privacy Policy
This policy explains how Silvernail Group Inc. (“Silvernail”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses and protects personal information when you visit silvernail.io or contact us. Each product operated by Silvernail publishes its own privacy policy, which applies to that product instead of this one.
1. Information we collect
- Information you send us. When you email us — for example to pitch as a creator or request investor access — we receive your name, email address and anything you choose to include, such as links to your channels, audience details or your firm.
- Technical information. Our hosting provider automatically records basic request data when you visit, such as IP address, browser type, pages requested and the time of the request. We use this only to operate and secure the site.
This website does not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels or third-party analytics, and we do not ask you to create an account.
2. How we use information
- To reply to you and manage creator, investor and partnership conversations.
- To evaluate creator pitches and investor enquiries.
- To operate, maintain and secure this website.
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.
We do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
3. Legal bases (EEA and UK visitors)
We process personal information where it is necessary for our legitimate interests in running the studio and responding to enquiries, to take steps at your request before entering into an agreement, or to comply with the law.
4. Sharing
We share personal information only with:
- Service providers that host this website and run our email (for example Vercel and Google), under terms that require them to protect it;
- Professional advisers such as lawyers and accountants, where needed;
- Authorities, where the law requires it; and
- A successor entity, if Silvernail is involved in a merger, acquisition or reorganisation.
5. International transfers
We and our providers may process information in the United States and other countries. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.
6. Retention
We keep correspondence for as long as a conversation is active and for up to 24 months afterwards, unless a longer period is required by law or you ask us to delete it sooner. Server request logs are kept for a short period by our hosting provider.
7. Security
We use encryption in transit (HTTPS), access controls and reputable providers to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect what you share with us.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your personal information, to object to or restrict how we use it, and to withdraw consent. California residents may request to know and delete personal information, and we do not sell or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. To make a request, email hello@silvernail.io. We will respond within 30 days and will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.
9. Children
This website is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has contacted us, email hello@silvernail.io and we will delete it.
10. Changes
We will post any changes to this policy on this page and update the date above. Material changes will be highlighted on the site.
